Analog and Mixed Signal IP
Triad Semiconductor is built upon analog and mixed-signal IP reuse. Analog Intellectual Property reuse is deeply ingrained into Triad's culture. Our design environment, methodology and Agile ASIC™ technology enable Triad to deliver an extensive and ever-growing library of reusable building blocks to both kick-start and derisk your custom IC development.
Triad's IP methodology is built upon three highly interconnected IP development and reuse methodologies including:
|
Full-Custom IPAll of Triad's IP begins as full-custom analog and mixed-signal circuits. These low-level circuits include resources such as transistor fingers, resistors, capacitors, switches and clocking elements. Higher-level functions such as operational amplifiers, bandgaps, I/O cells and ESD structures are created at this level. Triad IP is available as reusable full-custom building blocks for analog signal chains, data converters, power management functions, microcontrollers, etc.
|
Agile ASIC Tile IPProjects may also take advantage of Triad's patented, high-performance, low-risk and low-cost Agile ASIC Tile-based IP. In an Agile ASIC, collections of resistors, capacitors, transistor fingers, switches, and op-amps are created from PCell generators that realize both the circuit elements and an overlaid routing fabric. Collections of these resources are grouped into optimized tiles such as op-amp tiles, ADC tile, regulator tile, etc. These tiles can be reconfigured by making a single mask layer change to the via layer that sits in between the overlaid routing fabric layers.

Configurable IP (cIP)Triad's Configurable IP (cIP) technology is truly reusable analog IP. A cIP is a circuit description that can be synthesized onto Triad's Agile ASIC Tile IP. And, this is high-performance IP:
Our Agile ASIC technology coupled with ViaOnly configurable IP is enabling our customers to rapidly get to market with low-cost, high-performance mixed-signal custom ICs. Learn more about Configurable IP > |
