Ultrasonic Receiver Integration Example
Ultrasonic transmit and receive functions have been used decades in products such as Polaroid cameras, industrial level sensors and room occupancy sensors. Historically, these circuits have been implemented out of discrete op-amps, resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes and comparators.
Recently, there has been a demand to perform ultrasonic sensing in much smaller spaces. Wearable medical devices, AR/VR tracking, consumer liquid level sensing, and room occupancy sensors are just some of the applications seeking a radically smaller solution.
Triad's TS8000 is a complete 40kHz Ultrasonic Receiver on a Chip.
